On January 11, SHINING 3D’s 20th Anniversary Celebration and Opening Ceremony of New R&D and Production Base were successfully held at the headquarters in Hangzhou.
In 20 years development, SHINING 3D’s Dental business has grown at a breakneck pace and become a key player in digital dentistry.
A Grand Celebration of 20 Years
This 20th Anniversary celebration brought together over 600 distinguished guests, including government officials, renowned scholars, technical experts, industry leaders, domestic and international partners, media representatives, and shareholders, alongside more than 1,300 employees of the company, to celebrate this brilliant milestone in SHINING 3D’s two-decade journey.
A Landmark in China Vision Valley
As a pioneer in the China Vision Valley park and a leading enterprise in the industry, SHINING 3D’s new R&D and production base was officially completed after two years of construction. With a total floor area of nearly 100,000㎡, it stands alongside the already operational AB buildings, forming a highland of innovation in 3D vision technology.
Enhanced Accuracy Laboratory and Expanded Measurement Capabilities
The new base houses an upgraded CNAS-accredited precision laboratory, which boasts internationally leading capabilities in measurement range, accuracy traceability, and environmental control. Additionally, more than 10 R&D and testing laboratories, including optical labs and automated inspection workshops, have been expanded and upgraded, further laying the foundation for innovative R&D capabilities and ensuring precise product quality control.
On the production side, SHINING 3D strictly adheres to standard system requirements with newly constructed production workshops and modernized intelligent warehousing facilities. These upgrades establish a solid foundation for capacity enhancement, quality control optimization, and improved delivery capabilities. They also ensure that SHINING 3D can fully meet the growing demand for high-accuracy 3D vision measurement products across industries such as digital dentistry, healthcare, automotive, engineering machinery, electronics, art and cultural heritage, and education and research.
Breakthroughs in R&D and Product Innovation
Over the past 20 years, SHINING 3D has consistently invested 20% of our revenue into R&D, driving innovation and technological advancement. In 2024, we launched the Aoralscan Elite, a groundbreaking product based on intraoral photogrammetry (IPG) technology. The Aoralscan Elite is the world’s first device to integrate both intraoral scanning and photogrammetry into a single unit. This dual functionality makes it versatile for traditional dental work and advanced implant procedures. IPG technology allows clinicians to capture both implant positions and surrounding soft tissue in a single scan, addressing the challenges posed by traditional analog impression materials and related laboratory protocols. This innovation sets a new benchmark in digital dentistry.
To coincide with our 20th anniversary, we also launched a new Dental Design Service, offering 18 expertly designed service types with fast response times to our customers. This new Dental Design Service provides doctors with an efficient and high-quality dental design solution, enhancing their workflow.
